12/9/97 - Alliant Powder has a bad lot of Reloader 19 in the 1lb. container. Check the Lot Number on the side of the bottle. DO NOT USE if it has the following production code: "Lot Number 96120 1/22/97 S2". If you have this product please contact Alliant Powder @ 1-800-276-9337 or Ben Amonette (540) 639-7867.

4/10/97 - The America-On-Line IHMSA group meets in the IHMSA private chat room on Sunday and Wednesday evenings between 10:00 and 11:00 Eastern time.

3/26/97 - The use of hammer extensions on the Encore Pistol may result in a broken hammer spur. Thompson Center Arms does not recommend the use of hammer extensions on the Encore.

3/23/97 - The trigger pull of the Encore can be lightened nondestructively, and IHMSA legal, to approximately 20oz.

3/23/97 - The "sear surfaces" of the Encore are case hardened. Be careful how metal is stoned away trying to do a trigger job. Its best to leave these surfaces alone. Stoning will remove the hardening and will result in an unstable trigger.

3/7/97 - The price of the Anschutz may be going up. If you are thinking of a new one, you might think harder and get one now. AccuSport has a few 10" models left at about $425.00 and then you will have to look harder.

The weight of the TC Encore (10") 7BR out of the box is 3lb. 13.44oz. Add the hooded front sight and you add an additional .5oz.

The 15" TC Encore 7BR does make weight for Unlimited Class in IHMSA.

The TC Encore is IHMSA Approved for Production Class.
