IHMSA, International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association, Inc., is the sanctioning body for IHMSA silhouette.  It is a nonprofit organization of dedicated Silhouette shooters whose primary purpose is the establishment of uniform rules, standards, and competitions for handgun metallic silhouette.

The IHMSA NEWS is the official publication of the International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association, Inc..  It is published 10 times per year and includes match results from all IHMSA sanctioned matches, notices to members, member letters to IHMSA, Officer reports. and articles of interest to silhouette shooters of all "classes".

IHMSA membership is $35.00 per year and includes a subscription to IHMSA NEWS, Official Rule Book, Membership/Classification card, Official Patch of IHMSA, and a set of scale target templates if so requested.
