About the

Dedicated To The Promotion of Silhouette in Minnesota

The Minnesota Silhouette Assn. (MSA) is a nonprofit organization of silhouette shooters in the State of Minnesota.  Our primary interest is the promotion of handgun metallic silhouette in the State, coordination of the match schedules of the various clubs in State, subsidizing Minnesota State championship trophies, and a communication forum to the active shooters of the State.

MSA conducts its Annual Meeting in the month of December each year.  The agenda of the annual meeting includes the establishment of match schedules for the year, election of six (6) Officers, and to conduct any other business as necessary.  The IHMSA State Director is the Executive Officer of MSA and his vote is used as a tie-breaker vote in MSA.

Dues of MSA are $15.00 per year and include a subscription to the MSA Newsletter.

MSA normally conducts a Clinic for new shooters in April or May of each year on a free of charge basis.  The basic rules of Handgun Metallic Silhouette are explained, shooting positions demonstrated, and an opportunity to try the sport is provided.  Watch the NOTICES section of this site for details.
